Fire Safety Engineering Reports

Examples of alternative code solutions to which cost effective designs have resulted include:

Reduction and deletion of smoke extraction for a warehousing facility and major retail stores.
The deletion of stair well pressurisation in a high-rise building.
The deletion of zoned pressurisation in a high-rise building.
Egress from a high rise building into a lobby and not directly to the outside.
Reduction in sole occupancy unit fire ratings of a residential building.
Extended distance of travel from a retail store and a warehouse.
Reduction in the requirement of fire ratings for exposed surfaces on boundaries and other fire source features.
Rationalised emergency warning system.
Alternate fire wall construction.
Increased distance of travel.
